We are very disillussioned in society, and have placed importance on the wrong things. People put more emphasis on grades than happiness and fulfilling relationships. People give up everything they love in order to get good grades. This culture largely contributes to making depression a likely possibilty. Further new experiences which made the person feel underconfident, parental pressure, and fear of a bad career plus lack of any counseling support together brings it about.
