This usually happens because with psychaitric diagnosis, one can't just prescribe as one would for a physical condition. The moods and feelings of the person are volatile, and hand-holding and unconditional support are necessary. You can start by seeking a more supportive professional who will understand her concerns and explain the need for the medications in an amicable way. It will also be good if she undergoes psychotherapy, as she will feel understood and her resistance will reduce. Lastly, even how you communicate with her matters a great deal. Ask a professional for some communication tips so that you can convince your wife if the best possible way.
