    Hello.

Every disorder can be cured with proper treatment. For ADHD, there are medications and Cognitive Behavioural Therapies which can be used for treatment under the guidance of a psychiatrist or psychologist.

A parent can't expect their child to stop being hyperactive during the initial days. It will take time but hypercactivity level might decrease as treatment progresses. Every child is different, one child may completely behave normally while the other child might still persist this symptom of hypercativity even after treatment but at a diminished level.

Certain things a parent can take care of while dealing with children suffering from ADHD can be pointed out. A parent must not make the child think that he/she is abnormal, this can have a degrading impact on the child. They must support and motivate the child even if he/she fears doing certain things. Parents must not lose confidence in the ability of their child because it is seen that these children have normal than average creative skills. Children should not be punished they do wrong unknowningly, parents can always question the child to know the reason behind the child's actions but not shout or scold.

It is important that parents keep an eye on the actions of the child and pre-plan the consequences so the child doesn't harm himself or anyone around.
